Dennis grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from U.W. Madison as an Evans Scholar. Dennis moved to Summit County, Colorado in 1982 and has been living the dream since. Dennis and his son Jared enjoy skiing, golfing, hiking, and snowshoeing. His son Tyler, attends the University of Oregon in Eugene.
